Join us for this hands-on, interactive, delicious, and nutritious workshop.

We are surrounded by hidden food. Many of our common weeds are incredibly nutritious plants that have figured out how to grow alongside the ever-changing human landscape. We call many plants weeds because we do not know their names, but we should. To educate ourselves to the food that grows around us directly connects us to food security. This leads us into creating relationships with the ecosystems, environments and farms in our local areas. Empower yourself to learn to source locally abundant food with significantly more nutrition than most of our conventionally grown produce.

These are all benefits from learning to Eat Your Weeds.

We have picked 10 of the most common weedy plants to focus on,
Identifying characteristics,
Look-a-likes,
How to use them with recipes,
Where to pick, where not to pick,
Finding abundance in your community
Handouts for later use and so much more!
We will make a delicious and nutritious weedy pesto for everyone to enjoy!

The Art and Alchemy of Distilling Hydrosols!

Aromatic distillation is both a chemical process and a spiritual one, involving both art and ceremony with the Elements. Distillation can bring about a deeper relationship with the plant's archetype and its therapeutic components.

Join us as we discuss a variety of stills and their components, pack an Alembic copper still and a glass still with aromatic plants for beautiful hydrosols. While the stills are running, we will enjoy a plant walk, discuss sourcing and community connections, ethically harvest a specific plant, and learn its properties. We will discuss the foundations of distillation and dive into hydrosols and their many uses. Resources will be shared.

Come meander with the aromatic molecules and explore a whole new experience of plant extraction. Go home in a state of bliss ready to embark on your aromatic journey.
